The Arab British Chamber of Commerce, in association with the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in London, organised a Ministerial Roundtable for Jordan on Monday 23rd May 2022.
Our keynote speaker was His Excellency Eng. Kheiry Amr, Jordan’s Minister of Investment, who opened the discussion on investment prospects and potential for cooperation between UK and Jordanian businesses.
The new Ministry of Investment was established by Jordan in October 2021 signalling the Kingdom’s commitment to accelerating inward investment and enhancing the competitiveness of its economy.
The Ministry is concerned with all investment bodies in the Kingdom, such as the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC), and with strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors.
