Service Procedure
1. Document Submission:
Please upload the documents requested.
2. Document Review:
– We will check the completeness of your documents.
– Please bear in mind, according to the visa policy made by the Chinese Embassy, we may need you to provide additional supporting documents.
3. Fingerprint Enrollment Appointment:
– After reviewing the documents, we will make an appointment for you to enrol your fingerprints at the China Visa Center.
– Note: Only applicants between the ages of 14 and 70 need to enrol fingerprints.
4. Appointment Confirmation:
– We will send an email to you confirming your appointment date and time.
– The email will list all required documents you need to bring to the China Visa Center on the appointment day.
5. Appointment Day Assistance:
– On the appointment day, our staff will assist you in completing the relevant procedures at the China Visa Center.
6. Passport Collection:
– We will collect the passport on your behalf when the visa is issued.
7. Visa Confirmation:
– After collecting the passport, we will email you to confirm the grant of your visa.
8. Passport Return:
– We will post back your passport.
– Note: Because your passport is particularly important, we only use Royal Mail Special Delivery, which incurs an extra £10 charge for delivery.
– Alternatively, you are welcome to come to our office to collect your passport.
9. Visa Granting Discretion:
– Please bear in mind that the type and length of each visa granted is at the discretion of the Chinese Embassy.
Matters Need Attention
1. Passport Requirement:
– valid for more than 6 months.
– must have a blank page.
2. Photo Requirement:
– one recent, front-facing, color passport photo with light background. Please refer to the photo requirements in China Visa Center official website.
– affix to the application form.
3. Proof of Legal Stay in UK (for non-British citizen):
– a copy of Biometric Residence Permit Card (both sides) or a valid UK visa.
4. If you have been to China before, a copy of your last Chinese visa will be required.
5. For the applicant under 18, the following documents will be needed:
– a copy of applicant’s birth certificate.
– copies of both parents’ passports who signed the application form.
6. If you have multiple nationalities, you need to provide all your valid passports. Depending on the circumstances, the Chinese Embassy may ask you to provide all your previously expired passports.
7. The Chinese Embassy in UK does not accept the applicants whose nationality are Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, and Turkey.
