In furtherance of its activities to promote closer Arab-British cooperation, the Chamber is to host and organise the GCC-British Economic Forum. The Forum will focus on strengthening relations between the UK and the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council. It is confirmed that the Forum will be formally opened by HRH The Duke of York, KG and H E Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Secretary General of the GCC, which will serve to highlight the growing importance of GCC-British relations. The event will bring together senior government officials, diplomats, business executives, investors and decision makers from the UK and the GCC to discuss new opportunities for business and investment that are emerging in a range of key economic sectors. This one-day conference, to be followed by a Gala Dinner, is organised in partnership with the GCC and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
