1975-2025

This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, and we celebrate our half century of service to business.

Over these 50 years, the ABCC has been right at the heart of the astonishing growth and development of Arab British cooperation in the areas of trade, investment and commercial engagement across sectors between our peoples, nations and corporations great and small.

We have been and remain a business support organisation laser focused on our core mission of friendship through trade.

We can be proud of our record of service to the British and Arab business communities over these years and we look forward to our continued work to fulfil this core mission of building friendship and cooperation.

Over the past 50 years, we have witnessed breathtaking transformations across the Arab countries, extraordinary advances in the Arab and global economies, along with massive changes in how people do business and with notable advances in the terms of trade.

Throughout our existence, the ABCC has supported thousands of companies in completion of their export plans; we have provided expert impartial guidance to thousands of our members and investors; and we have equally served the private sectors in the UK and Arab world.

From its pioneer role in the pursuit of Arab British trade relations, the ABCC has become a first port of call and strategic partner carrying out a unique function in the intensifying and deepening of UK-Arab collaboration.
