The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) hosted its latest Members’ Networking Event at the Chamber’s Mayfair premises, welcoming members, non-members, senior executives, and diplomats among the distinguished guests and delegates.
The event was opened by Mr. Abdeslam El-Idrissi, ABCC Deputy CEO & Secretary General, who chaired the discussions and introduced the speakers. Mr. Bandar Reda, ABCC Secretary General & CEO, delivered the welcoming remarks, underlining the importance of such gatherings as a means of serving members more effectively.
Mr. El-Idrissi also reflected on the ABCC’s 50th anniversary year, highlighting decades of dedicated service to business, and drew attention to the success of the 4th Arab British Economic Summit, which attracted over six hundred participants including numerous Arab delegations.
Delegates heard from guest speakers including Jen Fackelman, Samiul Karim, Khalid Mahmood Chartered ALIBF, Chartered MCSI, Adv DipFA, AwPETR, Chef Maaref, and Ekta Kapoor. They shared valuable insights on their work and services in the MENA region, covering legal advice on visas, overseas employment, migration issues, tax planning, Shariah-compliant financial services, Moroccan fine cuisine, luxury hospitality, and market entry support in Saudi Arabia and across the Arab world.
Speakers further highlighted the advantages of Chamber membership, praising the ABCC’s role in supporting business development and facilitating meaningful connections.
The formal presentations concluded with informal networking over drinks and refreshments in the boardroom and on the terrace, enjoyed on a glorious summer evening.
