The Kuwait Ambassador stressed the importance of the country’s Vision 2035 in driving forward the nation’s economic development based on the principles of sustainability and diversification.

An illustration of the huge scale of current opportunities in Kuwait is seen in the high level of investment spending on new projects which in 2023 reached $170 billion. Recently numerous mega projects in various sectors have been unveiled which are available for investors.

The attentions of delegates were drawn in particular to the new Abdali economic zone which aims to become a new gateway for international trade” in the northern region of Kuwait.

The Ambassador highlighted the support that is available to new investors from the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, (KDIPA), which is the first point of contact for firms interested in doing business in Kuwait and availing themselves of the many opportunities.
The message conveyed was that Kuwait is holding its door open to UK firms who are encouraged to explore the country’s business landscape and that every support that they require to succeed is available for them.
