The Chamber held an ambassadorial business roundtable with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt on 2 June to draw to the attention of potential investors the opportunities now emerging in the country. The event succeeded in highlighting Egypt’s economic revival and its ambitious large-scale projects such as the new Suez Canal development. Dr Al-Shuaiby welcomed His Excellency Nasser Ahmed Kamel Ali, the Egyptian Ambassador, and introduced him to the invited guests who came from a wide section of industries. Rt Hon Baroness Symons, ABCC Chairman, chaired the discussion.
