The ABCC was delighted to host an ambassadorial roundtable with Mauritania’s Ambassador to the UK, H E Mr Ba Samba. The meeting was held in cooperation with the Embassy of Mauritania with the aim of promoting investment by highlighting exciting opportunities in priority sectors to business executives, investors and diplomats.
The Ambassador emphasised the mining, energy,tourism and agricultural sectors as just a few of the areas with great potential for investment. HE Mr BA Samba underlined Mauritania’s geostrategic location, legalstability and strong partnerships with neighbouring states as the incentives for these investments.
The discussion was chaired by the Rt Hon Baroness Symons, ABCC’s Chairman, with the participation of Mr Bandar Reda, ABCC CEO and Secretary General and Mr Abdeslam El Idrissi, Deputy CEO and Secretary General.
