The Chamber hosted a high-level delegation of women business leaders from the UAE who were taking part in a six-day trade mission to meet UK counterparts in London, Manchester and Belfast. The visiting delegation consisted of senior members from the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, Dubai Business Women’s Council and the RUWAD Establishment in Sharjah. The women entrepreneurs represented sectors ranging from fashion, education and food to interior design, finance and events management. The aim of their visit was to broaden links and create lasting networks with business women in the UK. The mission was headed by H E Mrs Raja Al Gurg, Managing Director of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC, and President of the Dubai Business Women’s Council; and formally welcomed to the Chamber by Dr Al-Shuaiby.
