Under the patronage and in the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Jordan–UK Business Forum opened with an exclusive high-level roundtable chaired by His Majesty, bringing together a high-level Jordanian delegation, including several ministers, alongside senior UK government representatives and leading representatives of the British private sector.
The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce was honoured to collaborate with The Royal Hashemite Court, Embassy of Jordan in London, Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), and the British Chambers of Commerce in delivering this important Forum.
Following the high-level roundtable, the Forum continued with welcoming remarks by Mr Fathi Al Jaghbir, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI), followed by addresses from Professor Michael Mainelli, President of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Stephen Doughty MP, Minister of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, H.E. Eng. Yarub Al-Qudah, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, and H.E. Dr. Tareq Abughazaleh, Minister of Investment.
Throughout the Forum, discussions reinforced Jordan’s enduring appeal as an investment destination. Its stability, strategic location, highly educated and talented workforce, and ongoing economic reforms provide a strong foundation for British businesses seeking long-term partnerships and sustainable growth. The Forum also highlighted significant opportunities to deepen bilateral trade, attract investment, and strengthen commercial collaboration across priority sectors.
The programme concluded with productive B2B meetings, reinforcing the strong commercial partnership between Jordan and the United Kingdom and creating valuable opportunities for future collaboration.
