The Arab British Chamber of Commerce was delighted to host “Sports, Tourism & Real Estate: A Saudi Perspective”, in partnership with Al Jaber & Partners, bringing together a distinguished panel of experts and a full audience of our members, business leaders, investors and professionals to explore the opportunities arising from Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 transformation.
The event was opened by Rita Massoud, MBA, FCIPD, Interim Secretary General & CEO of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, who welcomed delegates and highlighted the growing opportunities for UK–Saudi collaboration under Vision 2030.
We were honoured by the presence of representatives from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alongside Mohammed Al Jaber heading a delegation from Saudi Arabia. Representing Al Jaber & Partners, Marc Saroufim expertly moderated both panel discussions, bringing valuable legal and commercial perspectives and guiding engaging conversations on the Kingdom’s evolving investment landscape.
Our sincere appreciation goes to our distinguished speakers: Elizabeth Langan, Sarah Malik, Tara Thomas, Karen Webb Moss, Elias Abou Samra, Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh OBE, Arth Malani and Raj Pahuja, whose expertise and insights made for a highly engaging and thought-provoking programme.
Throughout the discussions, speakers explored how sport, tourism and real estate are increasingly interconnected, with legal reform, strategic investment and international partnerships driving Saudi Arabia’s continued economic transformation. The excellent turnout and outstanding engagement from the floor, with insightful questions and lively discussion, reflected the strong interest in the opportunities emerging across these dynamic sectors.
Our sincere thanks to Al Jaber & Partners, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, our moderator, speakers, panellists, members and guests for contributing to the success of this event. We look forward to continuing to facilitate meaningful dialogue and strengthening UK–Saudi commercial relations.
