In pursuit of the Chamber’s continuing efforts to promote cooperation between the UK and the Arab world, and following on from the enormous success of the 1st Arab-British Economic Forum, the Chamber held the 2nd Arab-British Economic Forum. The one-day conference and Gala Dinner focused on strengthening the Anglo-Arab relations and promoted the benefits of further cooperation and investment opportunities between the two regions. The event brought together senior government officials, diplomats, business executives, investors and decision makers from the UK and the Arab world in order to highlight to them new opportunities for business and investment that are emerging in a range of key economic sectors. The event was organised by the Chamber in partnership with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, the League of Arab States, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries, UK Trade & Investment, London & Partners and British Chambers of Commerce.
