A ministerial roundtable discussion with HE Mr Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Industry, Commerce & Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, was held on the morning of 29th February. The discussion, which focused on why UK companies should take a much closer look at Bahrain, was introduced by Dr Al-Shuaiby and chaired by Rt Hon Baroness Symons. HE Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of Bahrain to the UK, was also present. Dr Jarmo Kotilaine, Chief Economist at the Economic Development Board of Bahrain (EDB), also contributed a briefing to the senior executives attending.
