The Chamber was delighted to host a Palestine Spring Fair at its premises on 5th to 7th March. It was opened by HE Professor Manuel Hassassian, the Palestinian Ambassador to London, at an evening reception hosted by Dr Al-Shuaiby. Traditional handicrafts, textiles, jewellery, dates and spices, artwork, paintings, ceramics and organic olive oil on display provided a rich and colourful backdrop. The proceeds from sales were to contribute towards the construction of the first Cancer Department for Children in Gaza by the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). The fair was organised by the Palestinian Mission to the UK and the Association of the Palestinian Community in the UK.
