As part of the UK Presidency of the G8, the ABCC was a partner alongside the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Islamic Development Bank in holding the Deauville Partnership Investment Conference at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in London. The conference brought together business leaders and investors with government ministers and high-level representatives from across the G8, the Arab countries in transition, Deauville regional partners and the major international financial institutions. The event provided an unparalleled platform for discussion with transition country governments in the Middle East and North Africa and offered networking opportunities between companies from these countries and those from across the G8.
