The Chamber hosted the Business Roundtable in partnership with Santander Bank which allowed companies to open a dialogue on how to grow their business in the UAE at the most senior levels, providing businesses with a forum to discuss key issues, from funding to recruitment. The guest speaker was Nicholas Whitfield who worked with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (in Abu Dhabi) for seven years (2006-13), as well as in the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking Groups. Nicholas’s main expertise is in equity investing and debt structuring in the UAE. He is now working as a consultant to ADCB helping them establish their UK Representative office.
