An ambassadorial roundtable held at the Chamber heard a keynote speech by H E the Ambassador of Mauritania, Mr Sidya Ould Elhadj who highlighted investment opportunities in areas such as mining for minerals, oil & gas exploration, agriculture and tourism. Joining in the discussion online from Mauritania were Her Majesty’s Ambassador, Mr Colin Wells and Ms Aissata Lam, Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM). Mr Matthew Anderson, Chairman, the Mauritanian British Business Council, also shared his insights. The event was chaired by Rt Hon Baroness Symons with welcoming remarks from Mr Reda.
