The ABCC held its second members’ networking event of 2022 on the afternoon of 18 May.
Following its usual tried and tested format, the meeting acted as a platform for a number of new and long established ABCC member companies from a selection of industries from education to IT who were able to showcase their products, services and business activities to an audience of senior executives, investors and diplomats.
The event offered opportunities for members to develop valuable contacts through networking leading on to potential new customers, investors and partnerships.
Delegates were welcomed to the Chamber by Mr Bandar Reda, ABCC Secretary General & CEO, who invited members to see the ABCC as an accessible place where its staff were committed to delivering all the support services necessary to achieve successful business operations.
Mr Abdeslam El-Idrissi, Deputy CEO & Secretary General, ABCC, chaired the discussion and introduced the panel of speakers. He explained the role of the ABCC in supporting business, stressed the importance of using the correct documents for exports and highlighted the opportunities presented by the forthcoming Arab British Economic Summit (ABES) 2022.
Mr El-Idrissi urged everyone to take advantage of a special offer that allowed members to upgrade to platinum membership which would give them a speaking opportunity at the summit and a complimentary exhibition space.
The speakers were Simon Hayward, Annie Michailidou, Graham Pepe, Dr Ahmed Chekairi MD, FRCA, PGDip, Anthony Millard, Gonzalo Butori, Vincenzo Senatore, LLM (USA), Evangelos Tsironis, MBA, Andrew Elia and Tom Roe.
